Explanation [Note]
(1) You can use Pioneer drive BDE-PR1EP model with the EPSON Total Disc Maker Ver.7.00 or later. (Pioneer drive BDE-PR1EP model does not support EPSON Total Disc Maker Ver. 6.12 or earlier.)
For EPSON Total Disc Maker Ver. 5.0x/5.5x/6.00-6.12, we release a patch that is available for PP-100II/PP-50 equipped with Pioneer drive BDE-PR1EP. Please apply the patch program in case it is difficult for a customer to update the EPSON Total Disc Maker or EPSON TD Bridge for some reasons (such as the usage environment or the like).

    [Note]
  • - The patch program can work with the environment in where EPSON Total Disc Maker Ver.5.0x/5.5x/6.00-6.12 is installed.
  • - Target Models: PP-100II/PP-50 in which the drive has been replaced with BDE-PR1EP by repair or the like.
  • - Applying the patch program updates the drive installed in a product to EPSON Total Disc Maker Ver. 7.00 or equivalent. Refer to the "Readme_EN.txt" included in the package for supported drives for each version.

(2) Pioneer drive BDE-PR1EP is a Blu-ray Disc compatible drive. However, if this patch program is applied, the data cannot be written to a Blu-ray Disc using EPSON Total Disc Maker.
If you write the data to a Blu-ray disc, upgrade EPSON Total Disc Maker to Ver.7.00 or later.

[Installing method]
Please exit any applications before execution of the patch.
You need to reboot your system after the patch is applied, so that the changes will be reflected.
(1) Unzip "TDM_UPDATE_BDEPR1EPR2.zip" to a given folder.
(2) Execute TDM_Update.exe in the folder.
(3) When the following message appears, click [OK].
  "Do you want to add the drive that Total Disc Maker Supports?"
(4) When the update is completed correctly, the following message appears:
  "Update has been finished correctly.
  Restart Windows to enable the EPSON Total Disc Maker.
  Restart Windows right now?"
 If it is OK to restart the Windows, click [OK].
(5) Windows is restarted, and EPSON Total Disc Maker will be available.
