  • 1. Added VAT exemptions (natures) handling in SetVatValue() method.
  • 2. NumVatRates property only returns 4 or 9, but SetVatValue() method accepts values from 1 to NumVatRates and from 21 to 59 (excluding 30, 40, 50) depending on printer model.
  • 3. Improved tracelog handling.
  • 4. Introduced trace archiving.
  • 5. Improved communication handling.
  • 6. Added RT printer status request when opening communication.
  • 7. Modified GetData FPTR_GD_REFUND 4 handling. In the case of an RT, indicates commercial refund documents.
  • 8. Modified GetData FPTR_GD_FISCAL_REC_VOID 21 handling. In the case of an RT, indicates commercial void documents.
  • 9. PrintRecTotal() method predefined payment description handling corrected for cash subtype 01 to 05 (from 001 to 005) and credits subtype 00 (200).
  • 10. PrintRecTotal() verifies JavaPOS SET 14/29 flag status.

[About this content]
The driver allows development of applications based on the UPOS standard version 1.13. The driver provides the following four device categories (classes):

  • Fiscal Printer
  • Line Display
  • Electronic Journal
  • Cash Drawer

The fiscal communication protocol exchanges are handled and controlled by the driver supporting serial RS-232, USB or LAN TCP/IP connectivity.

The driver permits Direct IO native communication so that commands outside of the UPOS standard can still be utilised such as barcode printing.
