Explanation The Firmware Updater allows you to update the firmware of the printer. However, depending on the usage environment, the update may cause malfunction of the printer. Please contact your dealer or system integrator to make sure that there is no problem with the update.

1.Note
  • The software will update the printer's firmware.
    Depending on the usage environment, the firmware update might cause faulty printer operations.
    Therefore, before updating the firmware, please confirm with the printer seller or SI and others if there is no problem to update it.

4.Changes from the Current Version
  • [Bug fix]
  • - Fixed a bug that commands cannot be sent because Printer Busy is output while the printer is waiting for removal of paper.
  • - Fixed a bug that unintended reading result is produced when some 2-byte characters are included in the QR code in the ePOS-Print and the ePOS-Display.
  • - Fixed a bug that unintended display result is produced when trying to display some 2-byte characters on the ePOS-Display.
  • - Fixed a bug that some 2-byte characters could not be printed even if the 2-byte character selector was used in the ePOS-Print.

[For Windows operating systems]
  • In the [Download] box at the bottom of this page, select a target version, then click on the Download button.
  • A package that contains an executable file and the firmware data will be downloaded.

[For Android / iOS operating systems]
  • Firmware can not be updated for TM Utility Ver.3.6.0 and earlier. Please upgrade to TM Utility Ver.3.7.0 or later.
  • With TM Utility Ver.3.7.0 or later, user management, password, access code are unnecessary.

  • Use the Firmware Update function of the TM Utility to update the firmware of the printer.
